Messaging Privacy Notice

Messages may come from Trevor at Trevor Anderson Realty (Real Broker LLC).

This notice explains how Trevor Anderson Realty (“we,” “us”) handles personal information for our email and SMS messaging program about properties and possible next steps after a listing comes off the market. It applies to that program. It is not the full privacy policy for the Real / OneReal brokerage platform.

1. Who we are

Trevor Anderson Realty is the brand name for outreach and messaging operated by Trevor, a real estate agent affiliated with Real Broker LLC. Messages may identify Trevor Anderson Realty and/or Trevor.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect or process:

  • Name and property address
  • Phone number and email address
  • Consent records (when and how you opted in to SMS; disclosure version; form or message evidence)
  • Message content and delivery logs (SMS/email sends, replies, STOP/HELP)
  • Basic technical data for web forms (such as IP address, browser/user agent, and form submission identifiers)
  • Referral / booking workflow details you share (timeline, motivation, meeting preferences), when applicable

We do not require SMS consent as a condition of buying any product.

3. Where information comes from

We may obtain information from:

  • You — web forms, keyword texts (such as START), emails, calls, or chats
  • Listing and public sources — for example, that a residential listing came off the market or related property details
  • Data providers that help us find contact details for homeowners — used as contact data, not as proof that you asked for texts (that data is not the same as permission to text you)
  • Our systems and vendors — messaging providers (such as SMS/email platforms), hosting, and analytics needed to run the program

Having a phone or email from a listing or a data provider is not the same as consent to receive marketing SMS. We send marketing SMS only after you opt in as described below (or as otherwise allowed by law).

4. How we use information

We use this information to:

  • Send email invitations that offer (but do not assume) SMS opt-in
  • Send SMS after you opt in (web form with an unchecked SMS checkbox, keyword START with join disclosure, or, less often, a clear yes on a call that we record in our logs)
  • Run our conversation and referral workflow (including introducing a local agent only with your permission before sharing your contact information with that agent)
  • Honor STOP, HELP, email unsubscribe, and suppression lists
  • Maintain records for compliance, security, fraud prevention, and dispute response
  • Improve and operate the messaging program

Currently this program is for U.S. recipients when we can determine location. We do not intend this program for non-U.S. recipients.

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Real Broker LLC / brokerage platforms and tools as needed to operate as an affiliated agent and complete referral or transaction workflows
  • Service providers that send email or SMS, host forms, store data, or support operations (under contracts that limit use to providing services to us)
  • A receiving agent only after you give permission to connect / share, and subject to our referral process
  • Authorities or others when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer

We do not sell your SMS opt-in list for others to text you. We do not share your number for third parties’ independent marketing SMS.

6. Text messages and email choices

  • SMS: After you opt in, message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel SMS. Reply HELP for help.
  • Email: Marketing emails include a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from email stops that email program; it does not by itself cancel SMS (reply STOP on SMS to cancel texts).
  • Opening or clicking an email does not by itself create SMS consent.

7. Retention

We keep messaging, consent, and suppression records as long as needed for the program, legal compliance, and dispute handling, then delete or de-identify when appropriate.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. California privacy (summary)

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to request access, deletion, or correction of personal information, and to know about certain sharing. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense of running this messaging program as an ad network; contact data may still be obtained from service providers as described above.

10. Children

This program is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children for this messaging program.

11. Changes

We may update this notice. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the opt-in form or messaging program after an update means the revised notice applies to that use going forward.
