SMS Terms

Messages may come from Trevor at Trevor Anderson Realty (Real Broker LLC).

These SMS Terms describe the Trevor Anderson Realty text messaging program. They work together with our Messaging Privacy Notice.

1. Program description

Trevor Anderson Realty (Real Broker LLC; messages may come from Trevor) offers an SMS program about your property and possible next steps after a residential listing comes off the market.

Typical flow:

  1. You may receive an email inviting you to opt in to texts (email alone is not SMS consent).
  2. You opt in by web form (unchecked SMS checkbox + disclosures) and/or by texting START to our number after seeing the join disclosure, or, less often, by giving a clear yes on a call that we record in our logs.
  3. Only after opt-in may we send first-touch and follow-up SMS. First messages are a low-pressure check-in; we do not use this program for cold auto-SMS from prospecting lists without consent.
  4. If you engage, we may later offer to introduce a local agent. We ask permission before sharing your information with an agent.

Currently this program is for U.S. recipients when we can determine location.

2. Consent to SMS

By opting in (checking the SMS box on our form, texting START after the join disclosure, confirming YES if we use a double confirmation step, or, less often, a clear yes on a call that we record in our logs), you agree to receive SMS from Trevor Anderson Realty (Real Broker LLC; messages may come from Trevor) about your property and possible next steps after a listing came off the market.

  • Consent is not required to buy any good or service.
  • Opening or clicking an email does not create SMS consent.
  • Prospecting lists, data-provider contact details, and listing data are not SMS consent.

We keep a dated copy of the exact disclosure you saw when you opted in.

3. Frequency, rates, and support

  • Frequency: Message frequency varies.
  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
  • HELP: Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
  • STOP: Reply STOP to cancel. You will receive a confirmation and we will stop marketing SMS to that number until you opt in again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Opt-out and re-opt-in

After STOP, we revoke SMS marketing consent for that number. A later START or new form opt-in creates a new consent (you should see the program disclosure again). We do not treat email unsubscribe alone as an SMS STOP (and SMS STOP does not by itself unsubscribe you from email unless we state otherwise in a specific message).

5. What we will not do in this program

  • Claim you already opted into SMS when you have not
  • Sell your opt-in for others to text you
  • Share your phone with a receiving agent before you give permission to connect
  • Promise sale price, timing, or “best agent” results by text

6. Eligibility

You represent that you are the owner or customary user of the mobile number you provide, and that you are located in the United States for current participation when we apply that rule.

7. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms. The effective date will change when we do. Material changes to the program will be reflected in updated opt-in disclosures where required.
